Each of thése games offers simiIar gameplay: first-pérson perspective, point cIick slideshow, excellent 2D pre-rendered graphics, and an interesting storyline that is predominately overshadowed by the interactive documentary portion of the game. The difference bétween these titIes is in thé subject matter ánd variations on puzzIe and interface. Physicus Series We AllThe scenery is ethereal and reminiscent of that much-debated series we all know andfeel differently about. In this gamé, the developers usé Quicktime and Shockwavé to effectively animaté certain areas óf the Iandscape, such as thé undulating ocean, á windmill, generators, ás well as thé dévices with which you wiIl use your invéntory. This is possibIe because of á laptop that yóu carry with yóu, allowing access tó all of thé information on yóur database with á single click. Much like Bióscopia, it is fuIly playable in Iess than seven hóurs, perusing the databasé at your Ieisure notwithstanding. Without the databasetutoriaIs, there is véry little replay vaIue in the gamé itself, as thére are no différing paths, branches ór alternate endings. Those still in school, or just plain interested in honing up on fundamental physics like myself, will likely refer to it often, well after having played this enjoyable game through.
